財務業務シニアマネージャー/ Finance Operations Senior Manager

A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Finance Operations Senior Manager (Accounting & Tax). The selected candidate will lead accounting, reporting, and tax activities, manage finance operations transformation initiatives, oversee tax audits, and contribute to strategic finance leadership decisions. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals
• Drive accounting, reporting, and tax activities in line with IFRS, J-GAAP, and Japanese tax regulations
• Lead tax audits and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external authorities
• Identify and implement optimisation and automation opportunities across finance operations
• Contribute to finance leadership decisions and strategic direction
• Partner with local and global stakeholders to improve ways of working

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of experience in accounting, reporting, and tax
• Experience gained in large multinational companies and/or a Big 4 accounting firm
• Experience leading tax audits
• Proven people management experience with a track record of developing experienced professionals
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS, J-GAAP, and Japanese tax regulations
• Fluent level Japanese and English
