ファイナンシャルコントロールシニアマネージャー/ Financial Control Sr. Manager

A multinational beauty and consumer goods company is looking for a Financial Control Senior Manager. The selected candidate will lead accounting, audit, tax, treasury, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and ERP-related initiatives while managing cross-functional financial operations. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead accounting, audit, tax, treasury, and budgeting activities for corporate divisions
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and audit activities
• Analyse and monitor financial data and prepare financial reports
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory, US GAAP, SOX, and reconciliation standards
• Develop and implement finance policies and procedures with a focus on internal controls
• Supervise general ledger operations and ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
• Oversee accounts payable operations and positive pay transactions
• Supervise treasury activities and ensure bank compliance processes are completed accurately
• Assist with annual tax return preparation
• Communicate financial statements and reports to corporate division managers and business units
• Act as the primary liaison between finance teams, management, regional offices, and the New York office
• Support annual budgeting and planning processes and analyse budget variances
• Manage invested assets and capital expenditure performance
• Participate in ERP system implementation projects
• Establish departmental goals, operating procedures, and organisational structures aligned with global strategy

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Experience leading teams of finance professionals
• Knowledge of Japan and US GAAP or IFRS reporting requirements
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
• Leadership capabilities with experience developing talent pipelines
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems
• Possess a CPA or CIA qualification
