財務コントローラー/ Finance Controller

A global industrial machinery manufacturing company is looking for a Finance Controller. The selected candidate will lead financial operations, reporting, and strategic planning while partnering with leadership to drive business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Communicate financial performance and reports to HQ finance team
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business outlook analysis
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and internal controls
• Provide financial insights on performance, market trends, and customers
• Partner with leadership on decision-making, planning, and resource allocation

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of finance experience
• More than 2 years of experience in managing HR, labor, accounting, and general affairs in a 50-person organisation
• Experience in ERP system
• Knowledge of business operations, customer dynamics, and cross-functional workflows
• Possess valid Bookkeeping Grade 2 (Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry)
• Business level written and spoken English (TOEIC 800+); native level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in Microsoft business central (ERP system)
• Prior experience in a multinational company environment
