シニアファイナンシャルアナリスト/ Senior Financial Analyst

An international engineering and IT services company is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The selected candidate will provide FP&A support, manage financial and operational data, strengthen reporting and accounting processes, and work with Finance Management and cross-functional stakeholders to improve business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Support annual budgets, forecasts, long-term financial plans, and monthly financial analysis
• Analyse financial results and explain variances against budget and forecast
• Prepare management reporting packages, KPIs, and financial commentary
• Perform profitability analysis by project, customer, business unit, and employee
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support management decisions
• Identify business risks and opportunities through quantitative analysis
• Maintain the quality, integrity, and consistency of financial and operational data
• Develop and improve reporting databases, data models, and reporting tools
• Reconcile data across ERP systems, operational systems, and financial reports and resolve data quality issues
• Improve reporting efficiency through automation and standardisation and support ERP, BI, and reporting enhancements
• Apply accounting knowledge to support accrual reviews, reconciliations, financial analysis, internal controls, and governance
• Support Finance Management with business reviews, business cases, performance reports, and senior management presentations
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect, validate, and organise financial and operational information
• Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• 3-7 years of experience in FP&A, Financial Analysis, Controlling, Finance, Accounting, or related fields
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Experience handling large and complex datasets and working with cross-functional stakeholders
• Solid accounting knowledge with the ability to interpret financial statements, understand accruals and revenue recognition, and perform financial analysis
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• MBA or related postgraduate degree
• Experience supporting Finance Business Partnering activities
• Experience supporting ERP implementation or reporting transformation projects
• Experience with BI and reporting tools
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI and visualisation tools
• SQL, database management, or data analytics skills
• ERP system knowledge and experience
• Process automation and reporting optimisation experience
• Possess a valid Nissho Boki grade 2+ or equivalent qualification
• Possess a valid USCPA, JCPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification
