原価計算マネージャー/ Cost Accounting Manager

A multinational medical technology company is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective collaboration with plant operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee standard product costing, manufacturing variance analysis, inventory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Develop and maintain standard product costs
• Ensure accurate reporting of manufacturing performance and execute month-end closing activities
• Ensure financial reports and records comply with US GAAP and internal financial policies
• Maintain financial controls and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Support internal and external audits and collaborate with plant operations and support teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or finance
• More than 3 years of accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in manufacturing operations, product costing, manufacturing variances and inventory control, financial analysis, and budgeting & forecasting experience
• Prior cost accounting experience
• Proven ERP experience
• Understanding SOX controls
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with Plant Dashboard reporting and commentary
• Prior SAP experience
• Proven audit experience
• Possess valid CPA, MBA, or CMA qualification
