シニアアカウンタント/ Senior Accountant

A multinational data centre company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will support the Finance organisation by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing IFRS financial reporting, and managing accounts payable and receivable activities.

Responsibilities:

• Complete monthly financial reporting under IFRS following training
• Instruct service vendors on monthly journal entries and ensure accuracy and completeness
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including intercompany accounts, and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare internal reporting including balance sheet, profit and loss, FP&A reports, and cash projections
• Support audit and tax activities by gathering and submitting requested information
• Process vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policies
• Support accounts receivable activities including billing, cash application, and collection follow-up
• Reconcile historical cash transactions against cash forecast reports
• Gather cash collection and payment information to reflect actual and forecast figures
• Track project capital expenditure accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain appropriate documentation and evidence to support compliance with internal controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in accounting
• Intermediate-level accounting knowledge equivalent to Bookkeeping level 2+
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience using financial systems
• Native level Japanese; basic communication level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with IFRS
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Experience with Oracle or NetSuite
