シニアファイナンスディレクター/ Senior Finance Director (CFO)

A multinational medical technology company is looking for a Senior Finance Director. The successful candidate will lead the full finance and accounting function, oversee financial strategy and reporting, manage General Affairs, Legal and IT activities, and partner with executive leadership to support business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes
• Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights
• Establish KPIs and financial metrics to track organisational performance
• Drive continuous improvement in financial planning processes and enhance efficiency
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Manage external audits and regulatory reporting requirements
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance standards
• Manage financial rolling forecasts, including business forecasts and reviews
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and global policy harmonisation
• Facilitate corporate audits and annual compliance activities
• Strengthen internal controls through policy development, process reengineering, systems improvements, and training
• Drive automation initiatives and reporting enhancements
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
• Optimise capital structure and funding strategies
• Oversee banking relationships and financing arrangements
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulatory authorities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
• More than 10 years of experience in finance, including leading teams
• Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software
• Proficient in achieving results in a matrixed organisation
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and regionally as required
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Professional work experience with a capital equipment company
• Possess a valid MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification
