アカウンティングチーフ/ Accounting Chief

An international entertainment and attractions company is looking for an Accounting Chief. The selected candidate will manage fixed asset accounting, analyse capital investments, provide accounting guidance, and support investment-related decision-making. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Guide, develop, and review the performance of team members
• Determine repair expenses and capital expenditures
• Register and deregister fixed assets
• Manage lease accounting processes
• Control on-site surveys and related activities
• Prepare investment reports
• Prepare accounting documentation and reports
• Respond to enquiries from internal departments
• Provide accounting advice to related departments and budget management teams
• Analyse and report investment performance based on capital investment progress
• Assess whether new investments qualify for asset recognition
• Support investment activities from the early stages of new projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 3 years of experience in accounting at a listed company or a company of equivalent size
• General accounting knowledge or experience
• Knowledge equivalent to Japan Chamber of Commerce Bookkeeping Level 2
• Professional level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience managing and training subordinates and junior staff
• Knowledge of AI
• Ability to work effectively under high-pressure environments such as quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Ability to work in the office an average of four days per week and prioritise face-to-face communication

• Possess a valid Japan Chamber of Commerce Bookkeeping Level 1 certification or USCPA qualification
