ファンド経理/ Fund Accounting

An international investment management company is looking for a Fund Accounting professional. The selected candidate will oversee fund accounting operations, ensure accurate reporting, manage audits, and drive process improvements while supporting regulatory compliance and operational risk management. This is a hybrid setup and a long-term direct contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee fund accounting operations including coordination with offshore teams
• Handle back office administrative work for distributors
• Support fund setup, closure, and repurposing activities
• Lead fund audits and reviews while maintaining relationships with auditors
• Resolve issues arising from daily NAV calculation and reporting
• Participate as a business analyst in global initiatives and key projects
• Analyse regulatory changes and assess operational impact and process updates
• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance business operations
• Act as a technical contact with vendors and conduct service reviews
• Support documentation for BCP procedures and fund suspension processes
• Assist in BCP planning, maintenance, and disaster recovery testing
• Monitor operational risk and ensure proper reporting in line with company standards
• Escalate issues to senior management and global stakeholders as required
• Support the Head of Fund Accounting Japan in maintaining stable operations
• Prepare board reporting and key performance metric reporting

Requirements:

• Experience in Japanese investment trust fund accounting within a Trust Bank or Asset Management firm
• Extensive knowledge of investment trust accounting, financial reporting, and relevant regulations
• Professional level Japanese; business level English
