経理マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

An international luxury retail company is looking for an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee general accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, statutory reporting, tax support, and accounting operations while ensuring compliance with group guidelines and regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and control monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing procedures and ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and headquarters in liaison with the BPC team
• Maintain accounting systems and ledgers including chart of accounts, accounting policies, procedures, and control processes
• Prepare local statutory reporting
• Support tax return preparation and ensure appropriate treatment and controls for tax reporting matters
• Supervise asset reconciliation processes to ensure integrity of reporting
• Review discrepancy analysis reports of inventory
• Support internal control reviews conducted by Internal Audit teams
• Implement procedures to maintain and improve internal control systems and complete Group internal control reporting requirements
• Provide necessary data and information to external and internal auditors and tax auditors
• Maintain and develop Business Continuity processes for Accounting team responsibilities
• Lead ad-hoc projects related to accounting flows, rules, and systems
• Prepare monthly journal entries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, or Business
• More than 5 years of experience in accounting within a multinational company or Big 4 environment
• Experience in accounting procedures within a business environment
• Knowledge of IFRS and JGAAP
• Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1); business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess a valid CPA qualification
• Experience in SAP
