主任会計士/ Chief Accountant

A renowned animal health company is looking for a Chief Accountant. The selected candidate will lead financial reporting, accounting compliance, audit support, tax filings, internal controls, and ERP-related process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate financial statements and identify key accounting risks
• Provide accounting guidance on complex or unusual transactions
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and statutory financial statements
• Manage compliance with group policies, local accounting standards, and tax regulations
• Coordinate with auditors and support end-to-end audit processes
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting systems, team capability, and process efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred)
• 7-10 years of experience in in accounting, financial reporting, and tax (pharmaceutical industry and multinational environment is ideal)
• Experience in statutory reporting, audits, and internal controls (SOX or similar framework is a plus)
• Prior experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills
• Understanding of local GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
• Fluent level Japanese and English
