上級会計士/ Senior Accountant

An international medical devices company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will manage accounting operations, month-end closing, financial reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accounting activities and support accurate month-end closing
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Manage accounting for sales, rebates, accruals, and assigned balances
• Coordinate inventory, lease, fixed asset, and intercompany processes with overseas teams
• Analyse financial results and investigate variances
• Support statutory reporting, audits, documentation, projects, and internal control improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 3-6 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Possess valid USCPA (full or partial), Nissho Bookkeeping 2nd grade or above qualification
• Business level English; native level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in a multinational environment
• Prior experience in audit/accounting firm
• Proven manufacturing industry experience
• Possess valid Japan CPA or MBA qualification
