会計スペシャリスト/ Accounting Specialist

A multinational automotive company is looking for an Accounting Specialist. The selected candidate will lead accounting operations, prepare accurate financial statements, support audits and tax activities, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and optimise accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform proper posting of financial transactions including receivables, payables, accruals, provisions, and other balance sheet changes
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reporting in accordance with group deadlines
• Cooperate with internal and external audits and ensure accountability and transparency
• Report important and irregular accounting matters to department management
• Prepare and maintain ISO-related documentation and ensure compliance with ISMS requirements
• Maintain accounting books and business-related documents in accordance with legal and ISMS requirements
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training for deputies
• Support accounting policy preparation
• Contribute to accurate and timely tax filing
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Advise business units on accounting matters
• Support accounting systems optimisation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 7-8 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• General accounting knowledge and experience
• Group financial reporting knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
• Knowledge of accounting systems and tools
• Native level Japanese; business level English
