財務アシスタントマネージャー/ Assistant Finance Manager

A global restaurant chain company is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance with standards, and support management decision-making. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Review and approve financial statements and disclosures in compliance with IFRS/JGAAP and relevant laws
• Supervise audit material preparation and manage communication with external auditors and tax advisors
• Monitor budget-to-actual variance analysis and provide insights to senior management
• Ensure efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement in accounting processes
• Collaborate with other departments to refine accounting processes when implementing new procedures
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and company-wide initiatives from a financial management perspective

Requirements:

• Practical experience with annual financial closing
• Prior experience in audit support
• Experience with accounting systems such as Money Forward or Business Central
• Accounting knowledge (IFRS/JGAAP) and tax expertise preferred
• Strong financial statement analysis skills (BS/PL)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (IF, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, Pivot)
• Business level English; professional level English
