上級総括会計士/ Senior General Accountant

A renowned technology company is looking for a Senior General Accountant. The selected candidate will oversee accounting close, reporting, audit coordination, intercompany, treasury support, and finance process improvements. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Execute journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing for Japanese entities
• Prepare financial reporting and adjustment packages under US-GAAP and J-GAAP
• Manage internal controls, lease accounting, statutory audit coordination, and tax-related support
• Ensure data accuracy across SAP FI, CFIN, ledgers, and reporting tools
• Process intercompany transactions, treasury reconciliations, settlements, and cash flow reporting
• Partner with finance teams to improve accounting processes, automation, and reporting quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
• 5-7 years of accounting experience (multinational or global manufacturing and technology company is a plus)
• Experience with month-end closing, account reconciliation, and statutory financial reporting including audit coordination
• Prior experience in dual US-GAAP and J-GAAP reporting, including preparation of adjustment packages between frameworks
• Background in identifying and implementing process improvements or system
• Prior background in adjusting between J-GAAP and US-GAAP reporting packages
• Proficient in SAP FI module
• Skilled in MS Excel
• Understanding of SAP HANA, management reporting cycles, and usual
  group reporting tools for data visualization and extraction
• Familiarity with CFIN as system-of-record, including SAP-to-CFIN data flows, ledger structures, and consolidated reporting processes
• Native level Japanese (JLPT N1); business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of global tools
• Possess valid CPA (Nihon Konin Kaikeishi), USCPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification
