シニア会計士/ Senior Accountant

An international industrial technology company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will support financial controls, accounting operations, reporting activities, compliance, and business decision-making processes across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare A/R, A/P, F/A and G/L entries by compiling and reviewing financial data using SAP S/4HANA
• Prepare and process payments upon verification of required documents
• Verify and maintain supporting documents for all financial transactions
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Support business stakeholders by coordinating tasks and responding to inquiries
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies through data analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain financial integrity
• Assist with internal financial reports, tax filings, and audits by collecting and summarising data
• Support system migration activities, including testing, troubleshooting, and post-go-live operations
• Contribute to team goals and perform additional accounting tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting or related field
• More than 10 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of Japanese accounting principles, laws, and regulations
• Experience with ERP systems
• Fluent level Japanese; basic level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in multinational companies
• Familiarity with IFRS
• Hands-on experience with SAP
