財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A multinational industrial technology company is seeking a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage financial reporting and controls, support HR-related activities, and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Finance team and oversee financial operations of the Japan subsidiary
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and forecasting processes
• Analyse variances against financial plans and provide countermeasures to mitigate risks
• Ensure accurate and complete recording of financial transactions in line with accounting policies and regulations
• Implement and maintain financial management systems and internal financial controls
• Provide financial data and analysis to support business decision-making and resource optimisation
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to regional and corporate headquarters
• Maintain compliance with regional, corporate, statutory, and regulatory requirements
• Support the regionalisation of finance and administration functions
• Drive continuous improvement of financial and operational processes
• Manage new hire onboarding processes and employment agreements
• Coordinate HR-related actions in collaboration with the regional HR team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting and Finance
• More than 8 years of experience in accounting and financial management
• Strong understanding of financial management systems and internal controls
• Proven leadership skills with experience leading and developing finance and accounting teams
• Ability to analyse financial variances and operational risks
• Business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of the industrial sector
• Experience using ERP systems
• Possess a valid CPA, ACCA, or Master of Finance qualification
