シニアアカウンタント/ Senior Accountant

A multinational entertainment and media company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will support accounting operations and statutory reporting across multiple entities within the network.

Responsibilities:

• Execute period close deliverables, including daily revenue reconciliations and month-end reporting
• Analyse P&L and balance sheet variances and ensure timely month-end submissions
• Manage treasury functions and coordinate with US-based treasury teams
• Maintain accurate cash balances, intercompany reconciliations, and funds settlement
• Oversee internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and local regulations
• Review balance sheet activities, statutory disclosures, and support ad hoc analysis for leadership
• Address system-related reporting issues and coordinate with technical teams
• Support statutory account preparation and coordinate with auditors and outsourced providers
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with US/local GAAP
• Collaborate across finance, technical, and shared services teams for reporting and reconciliation

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of accounting experience
• Proven experience in month-end accounting, US GAAP, SOX, multi-site and multi-currency reporting
• Experience with outsourced finance functions is a plus
• Proficient in SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally
• Possess a valid CPA or working toward qualification
• Professional level Japanese; fluent level English
