コーポレートファイナンス・ストラテジー/ Corporate Finance & Strategy VP

A financial services firm is searching for a Corporate Finance & Strategy Vice President. The selected applicant will contribute to the firm's capital efficiency and support the finance-side evaluation of new investments and legal entity strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Support capital policy and manage capital structures for group subsidiaries
• Evaluate and execute actions such as capital injections, reductions, or closures of subsidiaries
• Coordinate with regional finance teams across EMEA, the US, and Asia
• Assess the financial and accounting implications of minority investments, typically 20–30% stakes
• Analyse impact on consolidation, profit & loss, and capital structure
• Support investment decisions from a finance perspective, including review of accounting treatment and tax implications
• Assist in managing financial guarantees provided by Nomura Holdings
• Contribute to financial planning, capital strategy, and group-wide finance initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong foundation in accounting or tax (Big 4 firm or financial institution experience is advantageous)
• Advanced level MS Office
• Experience in a corporate finance, FP&A, audit, or strategy-related role is preferred
• Experience working on global or cross-border projects is preferred
• Familiarity with accounting for investments, consolidation, and capital efficiency concepts is preferred
• Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred
• Possess valid certifications (CPA, CFA, or Securities Analyst Level 2) is preferred
• Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N2+); business level English
