ビジネスコントローラー/ Business Controller

A renowned manufacturing company is looking for a Business Controller. The selected candidate will oversee finance and accounting operations while driving financial planning, performance analysis, reporting, and business improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee finance and accounting operations in collaboration with the Shared Service Centre
• Analyse costs, profitability, and financial performance to support business decisions
• Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and recommend corrective actions
• Monitor cash flow, costs, and profitability against business objectives
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting compliance, and financial governance
• Coordinate month-end closing, review transactions, resolve accounting issues, and ensure financial accuracy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, or business (MBA is a plus)
• More than 15 years of experience in the finance/accounting or business control of industrial related equipment manufacturer
• Understanding of GAAP
• Knowledge of contracts terms and conditions and associated financial risk
• Familiarity with information system
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Professional level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess valid CPA qualification
