Important Notice: Beware of fraudulent messages impersonating Robert Walters employees
We are currently aware of a number of suspicious messages, particularly via SMS and messaging applications, being sent by individuals impersonating employees of Robert Walters. In some cases, these messages attempt to direct recipients to external platforms such as LINE or other messaging apps.
Our official communication policy
At Robert Walters, we do not contact candidates in the following ways:
- Initiating first contact via SMS with candidates whose contact details have not been previously shared
- Making unsolicited approaches through messaging applications
- Asking candidates to move conversations to external platforms such as LINE
- Requesting any form of payment in relation to job opportunities or recruitment processes
If you receive a message that falls under any of the above, please treat it as potentially fraudulent.
What to do if you receive a suspicious message
If you receive any suspicious email or message claiming to be from one of our consultants, we ask that you:
- Block the phone number or account immediately and do not comply with any requests
- Do not reply to the message
- Do not share any personal or confidential information
- Do not click on any links provided
