A leading global information solutions company is looking for an Account Manager – Research Solutions Sales. The selected candidate will drive revenue growth and manage strategic client relationships for scientific databases and content solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth across assigned research solutions portfolio
  • Identify and translate client needs into tailored solution proposals
  • Develop and implement market-aligned sales strategies
  • Lead annual account planning and execution
  • Monitor competitors and provide market feedback to internal teams
  • Represent the company at trade shows and conferences

Requirements:

  • Experience at senior levels in sales, account management, or similar
  • Prior experience in building out business with customer and in strategic account planning
  • Proven experience with specific research intelligence solution field
  • Background in selling technology and solutions
  • Prior background in complex solution-sales approach
  • Proven experience selling enterprise software and working in a global matrixed organisation
  • Fluent level written and verbal Japanese; business level English
