サプライヤー品質管理者/ Supplier Quality Manager

A global motor vehicle manufacturer is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager. The selected candidate will oversee supplier development and quality assurance for new projects, ensuring APQP compliance and continuous improvement. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse project BOMs and initiate APQP process in the portal
• Ensure use of approved materials and standards for new projects
• Assign and support SDEs in technical evaluations during sourcing
• Monitor supplier APQP progress and ensure on-time release
• Lead weekly governance meetings to address project risks
• Drive supplier quality improvement and implement lessons learned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in industrial sectors (mechanical engineering, or physics)
• More than 5 years of experience in quality domain
• Experience in automotive industry is ideal
• Understanding of project management
• Knowledge in approaching new component development (supplier selection, requirements definition, advance product quality planning, verification of production capacity, etc.)
• Prior experience in Quality Norm IATF 16949, quality, environmental, sustainability, and safety requirements
• Familiarity with quality tools (FMEA, Statistical Process Control, Process capabilities, problem solving)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Possess valid Auditor licence qualification according to VDA 6.3 is a plus)
• Fluent level written and verbal English and Japanese
