購買担当/ Country Purchaser

A multinational automotive parts manufacturer is searching for a Country Purchaser. The selected applicant will be managing indirect procurement for major categories, driving cost savings and automation initiatives. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Act as assistant manager, guiding the team and building trust with members and internal customers through mutual communication
• Manage indirect procurement for key commodities, including achieving savings and automation targets, and support regional procurement activities
• Establish procurement strategy to maximise profit and support all Business Units
• Ensure continuous improvement of purchasing processes and systems aligned with corporate strategies in the region
• Act as an ambassador for indirect purchasing for all responsible legal entities
• Manage and support all indirect material purchasing activities for the responsible categories
• Responsible for defined major procurement categories

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in the purchasing or procurement function
• Experience in project management, process definition and implementation
• Experience in leading projects and smaller functional teams
• Experience in a multinational company
• Native level Japanese; business level English
