戦略購買マネージャー/ Strategic Purchasing Manager

A renowned international adhesives manufacturer is seeking a Strategic Purchasing Manager. The selected candidate will lead sourcing strategies, manage a €20M procurement portfolio, and drive cost savings and compliance across energy and chemical categories.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with global procurement goals
• Manage purchasing activities across energy, petrochemicals, and intermediates
• Oversee and coach team members supporting key operations
• Lead strategic projects, including M&A evaluations and digital initiatives
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and sustainability standards
• Report on procurement performance and maintain stakeholder communication

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or business administration
• More than 10 years of experience in purchasing, sales, or business development
• Experience in the petrochemical industry and EPC market is ideal
• Background in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
• Skilled in project management and strategic sourcing methodologies
• Understanding of CAPEX procurement, supply chain, and risk management
• Knowledge of legal aspects of contracts and cross-cultural business settings
• Fluent level written and verbal English
