シニアリーガルカウンセル/ Senior Legal Counsel

A global financial institution is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel. The selected candidate will lead legal matters for global markets and asset management while providing strategic legal support across business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead legal matters related to global markets and asset management
• Draft and review transaction agreements and other legal documents
• Manage external legal counsel and coordinate on complex matters
• Advise business units and support functions through issue spotting and solutioning
• Represent the legal function in governance and management forums
• Supervise and collaborate with a junior lawyer and paralegal

Requirements:

• More than 7 years of experience in legal at top-class law firm or financial institutions
• Possess valid legal practice qualification in Japan (Bengoshi)
• Native level verbal and written Japanese; business level verbal and written English
