プライバシースペシャリスト/ Privacy Specialist

An international mobility technology company is hiring a Privacy Specialist. The selected candidate will support privacy operations across departments, ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating privacy risks.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to business inquiries and requests related to privacy-by-design
• Assess data protection obligations and conduct privacy risk assessments for new services and products
• Operate and enhance privacy program modules such as data mapping, PIAs, and data breach management
• Draft and update privacy notices to align with regulatory requirements
• Review and improve privacy-related contracts, including SCC and DPA
• Engage with regulatory authorities during data breaches or investigations
• Coordinate with group companies to implement consistent privacy controls

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in the privacy domain, especially with APPI, GDPR, or CCPA
• Proven experience interpreting privacy laws and collaborating across global teams
• Prior experience in international, diverse environments
• Experience in regulatory authority communication
• Skilled in translating privacy concepts into practical action plans
• Understanding of basic security practices
• Ability to explain major privacy issues and propose preventive strategies
• Possess valid Privacy certifications (CIPP, CIPM, CDPSE)
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese; business level written and verbal English
