Director, Fiscal & Regulatory Affairs

A renowned consumer goods company is seeking a Director of Fiscal & Regulatory Affairs. The selected candidate will lead fiscal strategy, manage regulatory relationships, and ensure compliance across business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead fiscal strategy planning and represent the company before government authorities
• Obtain product and price approvals through regulatory collaboration
• Review and advise on marketing materials for regulatory compliance
• Oversee compliance with legal obligations, including environmental and safety requirements
• Build and execute strategies with industry associations for public policy influence
• Manage and develop team members through performance feedback and coaching

Requirements:

• Experience working in Japanese government on regulatory compliance issues
• Knowledge of legal framework and politics of Japanese governments
• Proficient in English and Japanese
