内部統制スペシャリスト/ Internal Control Specialist

A global energy company is looking for an Internal Control Specialist. The selected candidate will lead internal control initiatives and ensure compliance across business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain an internal control framework aligned with global standards
• Oversee documentation and process mapping to reflect internal control policies
• Provide guidance to teams on managing operational risk and ensure policy updates
• Lead reviews of control gaps, conduct root cause analysis, and track remediation
• Prepare and report on internal control metrics and compliance KPIs
• Support audits, risk reviews, and system projects with a focus on control integrity

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• More than 5 years of experience in internal control, compliance, operational risk, or internal audit
• Experience in an energy/commodities trading environment, accounting, or related regulatory setting is ideal
• Prior experience in control evaluation and design and maintenance of business processes in a fast-changing and significant regulatory setting
• Proven experience in financial controls and assessment of risk within complex financial processes is a plus
• Background in IT technology controls is a plus
• Prior background in incident investigation and reporting
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English is ideal
