Legal Hiring Trends for Bilingual Professionals
With personnel shortages felt across the market, recruitment staff have been pressured into offering not just competitive salaries but also non-monetary career benefits in order to secure skilled professionals.
The past year has observed a decline in the number of available in-house legal positions, and, excluding the IT and pharmaceutical industries (which continue to actively recruit mid-level professionals), companies have been focusing on refilling vacant positions rather than creating new ones.
While this pattern is expected to continue into the next year, personnel shortages for bilingual lawyers are likely to drive even fiercer competition between recruitment staff.
