データサイエンティスト/ Data Scientist

A leading weather technology company is looking for a Data Scientist. The selected candidate will develop algorithms, analyse Doppler lidar data, and present findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse Doppler lidar data and format results for customer needs
• Develop algorithms to enhance lidar data value and usability
• Collaborate with engineers to visualise and interpret data
• Utilise Python, Jupyter Notebook, AWS, and visualisation tools for analysis and presentation
• Prepare technical documentation, research papers, and materials
• Present research outcomes at industry conferences

Requirements:

• Experience in algorithm development
• Prior experience in data analysis (Python or similar tools) is ideal
• Proven experience presenting at academic or industry conferences is a plus
• Knowledge in physics, mathematics, and statistics
• Understanding of signal processing is preferred
