サービスマネージャー/ Service Manager
A foreign industrial machinery company is searching for a Service Manager. The selected candidate will serve as the main point of contact for the service operations, management of service technicians, and service admin support personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily service operations, including supervision of technicians, service admin staff, workshops, and mobile service vans to ensure efficiency and service quality
- Oversee scheduling, work assignments, and service reporting, ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time
- Provide technical assistance to technicians, customers, and sales teams, resolving issues and ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Monitor and analyse KPIs and branch performance, prepare monthly reports, and provide direction to improve results
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 17025), and health and safety regulations
- Maintain and manage calibration equipment, records, and scheduling of required annual services
- Coordinate with the service administrator for customer communication, repair updates, quotations, POs, invoicing, and job documentation
- Lead technician performance reviews and weekly meetings, offering support, feedback, and training where needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required (equivalent work experience is welcome)
- More than 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
- Solid understanding of quoting, invoicing, and basic business practices
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of software and reporting programs
- Excellent customer service initiative
- Ability to support technicians and communicate effectively across various departments, from email to phone and via scheduling systems
