アプリケーションエンジニア / Application Engineer

A global consumer goods manufacturer is looking for an Application Engineer. The selected candidate will provide technical support, conduct product demonstrations, and optimize adhesive-related processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct field visits to assess customer needs and analyse competitors
• Recommend and demonstrate product applications to end users
• Develop technical videos and work with application equipment for process improvements
• Standardise technical documents and ensure data consistency across platforms
• Oversee laboratory work, prioritise sample testing, and report results to customers
• Address quality issues and customer claims, providing insights to relevant teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in chemical, engineering, or technical domain
• 3-5 years of experience working hands-on with Craftsmen
• Experience with sealants, adhesives, and functional coatings is a plus
• Prior experience from multinational companies within the building material industry is ideal
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Possess valid driver’s licence
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Japanese

• エンドユーザーを訪問し、顧客インサイトやアプリケーションの詳細を理解し、競合他社の状況を分析

• 顧客から得たサンプルに対するラボ作業をフォローアップし、顧客に技術結果を報告
• 品質問題や顧客からのクレームを関連部門に報告
• 顧客からのフィードバックを活用して現在の提供内容を最適化し、営業やマーケティングチームのために新たなビジネス機会を特定
• 営業、マーケティング、製品開発、イノベーション、技術フィールドチームやプロジェクトチームメンバーと連携
• 建設、建築業界における最新のローカル規制に関するトレンドを把握

応募要件:

• 大卒（建設業界に関連する化学、工学、または技術分野）
• 建設業界に関連する化学、工学、または技術教育を受けた経験
• 建築・建設関連の実務者との実務経験3〜5年以上
• コミュニケーションレベルの英語力・日本語力
• 有効な運転免許証
• シーラント、接着剤、機能性コーティングの実務経験尚可
• 建材業界における多国籍企業での経験尚可
