Director, Medical Information

A global commercial services company is looking for a Director, Medical Information. The selected candidate will oversee medical information operations, drive client satisfaction, and lead high-performing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of medical information strategies, including digital initiatives
• Oversee Medical Information Contact Center operations and ensure KPI achievement
• Standardise processes to improve operational efficiency and global collaboration
• Deliver client-focused services including implementation, ongoing support, and audit participation
• Guide staff development, performance evaluations, and ensure compliance with client requirements
• Manage and mentor direct reports while supporting recruitment and team building

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in life sciences, medicine, nursing, or similar disciplines
• 5-8 years of medical information or pharmaceutical industry experience
• Understanding of medical information industry best practices
• Knowledge of Japan customer service, manners, and etiquette
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in telephony, Medical Information databases, Omni-Channel/Multi-Channel Contact Center Communication Systems, and project management platforms is a plus
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite is a preferred
• Possess valid pharmacist licence is ideal
