政務マネージャー・マーケットサポート/ Government Affairs Manager & Market Support

A global renewable energy company is looking for a Government Affairs Manager and Market Support. The selected candidate will lead governmental affairs and support energy transition projects in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Lead governmental affairs and advise directors on Japan-specific strategies
• Manage energy transition projects and analyse infrastructure opportunities
• Provide strategic advice on policies related to climate protection and decarbonisation
• Keep stakeholders informed of changing policies and regulatory updates
• Foster relationships with governments, embassies, financial institutions, and associations
• Conduct stakeholder analysis and monitor competitive positioning
• Analyse geopolitical trends to predict future policy changes
• Represent Japan in key think tanks and governmental organisations

Requirements:

• Experience in government affairs domain
• Prior experience in project financing
• Proven experience managing or participating in strategic projects with cross-functional and international teams (management or consulting environment is preferred)
• Background in financing instruments offered by governments or international institutions
• Prior background in political or diplomatic environment
• Proven background n negotiation with authorities and government bodies
• Knowledge of geopolitical developments in Japan
• Fluent level Japanese and English
