SCアプリケーションエンジニア/ SC Application Engineer

A foreign chemical manufacturer is seeking an SC Application Engineer. The selected applicant will be in charge of addressing customer needs through process optimisation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Receive necessary training and product knowledge, and carry out work quickly and accurately according to each project schedule
• Strive to constantly collect information, improve expertise and applicability, and contribute to customers
• Conduct an optimisation study for existing processes to meet customers’ needs
• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting for customers
• Collect information on market technology trends and product development schedules for the specialty field in charge
• Collaborate with the technical team to evaluate new products, gather data, and introduce them to the Japanese market

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in science or engineering (chemistry is preferable)
• Experience in plating, metal surface treatment, and chemical treatment
• Experience in using equipment and devices related to work, chemical and physical analysis equipment, etc.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding the handling and storage of chemicals
• Technical experience with electronics-related plating chemicals or surface treatment chemicals is a plus
• Business level English
