コンプライアンス担当者/ Compliance Officer

An International Banking and Financial Services Company is looking for a Compliance Officer. The selected candidate will facilitate the Branch’s compliance with banking and security laws. This is a part-time role.

Responsibilities:

• Support the branch in meeting relevant legal, regulatory, and internal expectations related to its operations and activities
• Identify general training and help coordinate or provide appropriate sessions for staff at the location
• Contribute to developing and applying the compliance division’s overall approach
• Create and maintain a locally relevant set of guidelines and procedures aligned with broader governance standards
• Offer ongoing oversight by continuously reviewing conformity with established compliance standards
• Manage assigned compliance projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in banking, general management or law
• More than 5 years of experience in compliance or related field
• Experience in compliance in an international bank environment in Japan or abroad
• Background in financial crime and or markets compliance (corporate banking compliance) is ideal
• Understanding of local regulatory framework
• Knowledge of overseas regulatory frameworks (German or Europe) is ideal
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Possess industry and regulatory network is preferred
• Proficient at written and spoken English (German is a plus)
