リーガル・コンプライアンスオフィサー/ Legal & Compliance Officer

A global investment management firm is seeking a Legal & Compliance Officer. The selected candidate will support compliance, investment structuring, and legal oversight across global offices.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with investment and operations teams to address compliance and investment-related matters
• Assist with compliance monitoring and oversight for registered investment companies
• Track regulatory updates and recommend policy or procedural changes
• Negotiate transactional agreements, including assignments, participations, and limited partnerships
• Prepare and negotiate side letters on behalf of clients
• Support legal structuring and oversight of SMAs, including offering documents and service provider agreements

Requirements:

• More than 3 years as a practicing attorney or paralegal in investment management/private funds
• Experience in private markets fund formation
• Working knowledge of Japan's Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and relevant securities regulations
• Professional level Japanese and English
