ファイナンスコントローラー/ Finance Controller

A well-known industrial manufacturing company is looking for a Finance Controller. The selected candidate will lead financial reporting, planning, and decision support for a business unit.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for business performance insights
• Track and report key financial metrics, identifying trends and variances
• Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans
• Provide financial guidance for pricing, profitability, and market expansion
• Lead financial modeling and analysis for strategic initiatives and investment decisions
• Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, business administration, or a relevant domain (MBA or a related degree is ideal)
• 7-10 years of experience in finance, business controlling, or financial planning and analysis (multinational or manufacturing setting is preferred)
• Experience in partnering with senior business leaders to drive financial performance
• Prior experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling at the business unit or divisional level
• Proven experience in a matrix organisation or global business setting is desired
• Background in cross-functional collaboration (sales, operations, supply chain, etc.) is a plus
• Knowledge of JGAAP and local financial regulations is preferred
• Possess valid CPA, CMA, or relevant certifications is advantageous
• Fluent level written and spoken English; business level Japanese
