アシスタントコントローラー/ Assistant Controller

An international advertising company is looking for an Assistant Controller. The selected candidate will manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support audits and projects. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform period-end accounting in line with US GAAP and internal policies
• Review key accounts to ensure compliance with company accounting standards
• Manage job cost accounting and report on irregular financial matters
• Handle audit responses, compliance checks, and process improvements
• Support cross-functional ad-hoc projects with internal and external stakeholders
• Respond to various financial inquiries and reporting needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controlling
• Experience in marketing communications or audit firms is ideal
• Proficient in analytical tasks and Excel
• Ability and willingness to meet deadlines
• Possess a valid USGAAP, IFRS, or JGAAP CPA qualification is a plus
• Native level Japanese; business level English
