Head Of Finance

A global fashion company is looking for a Head of Finance. The selected applicant will be responsible for managing tax affairs, commercial contracts, and service providers. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee general accounting and finance of the local Japan Group operations, working closely with service providers to accomplish timely, optimised, and accurate financial management and reporting
• Plan business budget, forecasting, and P&L management
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Conduct proforma analysis and presentation for store opening projects
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
• Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
• Manage cash flow, including treasury tasks and controlling cash pooling
• Manage commercial contracts and coordinate with brand headquarters and service providers

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of experience in finance & control
• Experience in project management
• Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
• Excellent leadership skills
• Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English
