Assistant Director of Finance

A global hospitality company is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance. The selected candidate will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting while driving strategic decision-making and leading the finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Analyse sales performance, expenses, and profitability trends
• Identify cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities
• Oversee internal controls to manage financial and operational risks
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance
• Lead audits and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and develop finance and accounting team members
• Communicate financial insights to stakeholders in a clear manner
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and tax obligations
• Contribute to performance reviews and support team development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance and accounting or a relevant domain
• More than 1 year of experience in the finance and accounting field
• Knowledge of JGAAP
• Understanding of ISOPs
• Familiarity with P&L statements, operating budgets, forecasting and scheduling, and the reporting of financial data
• Professional level Japanese and English
