アカウンタント/ Accountant

An international manufacturing company is looking for an Accountant. The selected candidate will manage daily accounting activities, ensure financial accuracy, and support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting activities such as T&E process, AR, AP, costing, and general ledger
• Manage monthly closing in a timely manner according to the corporate calendar
• Prepare account reconciliations for the balance sheet
• Support routine tax activities and assist with tax filing
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and management reports
• Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure SOX compliance
• Assist with ad hoc projects as required by the superior

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or related field
• More than 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment
• Practical experience with accounting and internal audit
• Previous experience in manufacturing environments
• Prior ERP experience (Oracle or SAP is a plus)
• Professional level Japanese; fluent level written and verbal English
