ファイナンスマネージャー/ Finance Manager

A renowned entertainment company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily finance operations including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and cash flow
• Ensure compliance with Japanese accounting standards and tax regulations
• Prepare financial reports for local and HQ leadership
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
• Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulators
• Align with HQ finance team on global reporting and internal controls

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, or a relevant domain
• More than 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Experience in both multinational companies and Japanese SMEs/startups
• Prior experience with ERP or accounting software (freee, SAP NetSuite) is a plus
• Understanding of Japanese accounting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Knowledge with the anime or content production industry in Japan is preferred
• Possess valid CPA, ACA, or equivalent certification is ideal
• Fluent level written and verbal Japanese and English
