An international cloud telecommunications company is seeking a Sales Director: Cloud, Japan Enterprise Sales. The selected candidate will drive regional growth through direct and partner sales, delivering telecom cloud solutions with strategic impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage regional direct sales and drive cloud solution adoption
  • Lead regional growth initiatives while managing GTM partner sales
  • Achieve OB and revenue targets within telecom cloud sales
  • Develop and execute sales plans to support target achievement
  • Ensure strong demand generation, secure a sales pipeline, and drive conversion
  • Acquire new business in collaboration with pre-sales and solution engineering teams
  • Strengthen GTM impact through strategic partner relationship management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering
  • More than 10 years of professional experience in leadership, consulting, cloud software sales, and HCI
  • More than 5 years of experience in cloud, orchestration, and virtualisation/HCI sales
  • More than 5 years of proven track record of closing multiple cloud software deals
  • Proficient in managing interdisciplinary teams, including sales, pre-sales, engineering, and customer success
  • Ability to engage with CxO-level stakeholders at Telecom/CSPs
  • Clear understanding of business principles and finance
