A global chemical company is looking for a Business Manager in the Ruminant sector. The selected candidate will drive sales excellence, support technical initiatives, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and identify customer needs and opportunities through research and communication
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and distributors at multiple levels
- Promote specialty nutrition products and services to drive sales
- Implement strategic positioning for specialty nutrition products in the region
- Support sales targets by coordinating technical and commercial tools for customer needs
- Analyse and propose competitive pricing aligned with market conditions and profit targets
- Develop and implement account plans for focus customers, coordinating with technical services
- Ensure timely customer payments and meet Accounts Receivable (AR) targets
- Accurately budget and forecast account activities to meet sales targets
- Lead and participate in project teams supporting value selling initiatives
- Support customer activities to achieve sales goals
- Provide technical support for feed additives application and services
- Deliver solutions tailored to customer needs
- Train team members on technical aspects of products and services
- Coordinate customer trials and manage budget alongside Business Manager
- Foster academic network connections to promote portfolio
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (Master in Ruminant Nutrition)
- Mor than 5 years of experience in dairy business, nutrition, production, sales, or marketing
- Knowledge of Indian dairy industry, stakeholders, and their needs/ challenges
- Possess a strong network with organised dairy farms, dairy cooperatives, stockfeed industry, and diary consultants
