SCMマネージャー/ SCM Manager

A multinational pharmaceutical company is searching for an SCM Manager. The chosen candidate will be responsible for executing end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure stable and timely product availability.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure stable product supply by executing timely order fulfilment and resolving supply issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and manage optimal supply plans that balance customer service levels, production capabilities, inventory levels, and cost efficiency
• Manage relationships with CMOs, 3PLs, and material suppliers to ensure smooth operations, timely procurement, and accurate invoice processing
• Ensure compliance by applying for and reporting on required licenses to relevant authorities
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs) to support demand planning and issue resolution
• Propose and implement improvements to supply chain processes in coordination with internal teams and external partners
• Support resolution of product quality issues through communication with the Quality team and related departments
• Coordinate with global supply chain and forecasting teams to ensure consistent supply across regions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (Master’s is preferred)
• More than 7 years of experience in supply chain management in SCM
• Experience in the full cycle of SCM (S&OP, Demand/Supply Planning, Logistics, and
  CMO management) in the medical industry is preferred
• Possess a valid certification or designation in end-to-end supply chain planning; CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, and Six Sigma certifications are advantageous
• Fluent level Japanese; business level written and verbal English
