ロジスティクスマネージャー/ Logistics Manager

A multinational consumer goods company is looking for a Japan Logistics Manager. The selected candidate will manage warehousing, transportation, and logistics strategies while ensuring cost-efficiency and digital innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily logistics operations, including scheduling, routing, and team supervision
• Analyse logistics costs and coordinate customs clearances and permits
• Develop and implement warehousing and distribution procedures aligned with corporate standards
• Liaise with shipping agencies and transport companies
• Oversee warehousing and transportation functions across all business units
• Optimise market logistics to minimise costs while maintaining service levels
• Lead local sustainability logistics initiatives and projects
• Manage local logistics procurement and tender processes
• Identify and implement modern technologies such as robotics, IoT, or AI
• Measure performance using KPIs, big data, and integrated systems
• Represent the logistics function in national and international internal and external forums

Requirements:

• Experience in Project Management (Lean Six Sigma is a plus)
• Familiarity with WMS/TMS and supplier management
• Proficient in leadership, communication, and problem-solving
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent level Japanese and English
