SCトレードロジスティクススペシャリスト/ SC Trade Logistics Specialist

An international power energy company is seeking a Supply Chain Trade Transportation Logistics Specialist. The selected candidate will manage and enhance logistics operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable transportation strategies. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development and improvement of logistics processes and systems
• Develop monthly transportation schedules using TMS and optimisation tools
• Manage 3PL, freight forwarders, and vendor performance
• Negotiate contracts and ensure timely, compliant deliveries
• Implement logistics cost reduction and CO₂ emission strategies
• Collaborate with customs brokers and prepare required documentation
• Monitor and report KPIs on cost, timeliness, and environmental impact

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, International Trade, Business, or related field
• More than 5 years in logistics and transportation, including project-based heavy cargo handling
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience in supply chain or logistics operations
• More than 2 years of practical experience in customs and trade compliance, including FTA usage
• Skilled in negotiation and coordination with logistics partners and customs agents
• Proficient in TMS, WMS, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), MS Office Suite
• Familiar with green logistics and sustainability initiatives
• Business level Japanese; proficient in written and reading English (TOEIC 650+)
