Japan Country Logistics Leader

A renowned technology manufacturing company is seeking a Japan Country Logistics Leader. The selected candidate will oversee logistics operations, drive transformation initiatives, and optimise distribution efficiency. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Drive logistics transformation to enhance distribution and cost efficiency
• Lead strategic initiatives for logistics process improvements
• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business objectives
• Oversee warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations
• Manage logistics service provider relationships and negotiate contracts
• Analyse logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team
• Collaborate with supply chain, sales, and customer service teams
• Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred
• More than 15 years of logistics or supply chain management experience
• More than 10 years of leadership roles experience
• Experience with logistics technology and innovations
• Proven expertise in warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations
• Proficiency in logistics software and SAP systems
• Fluent level Japanese and English
